Sync Video and Gyro Data

This guide explains how to match camera footage with gyro data recorded on a smartphone.

Basic Flow

1. Start recording gyro data in GyLog before shooting.
2. Record the video.
3. Stop GyLog after shooting.
4. Put the video file and .gcsv file together on your computer.
5. Sync the video and gyro data with Gyroflow or GyLogSync.

Notes

• Make sure the video file and .gcsv file belong to the same take.
• For long shoots, shorter recording sections are easier to check.
• If sync does not match, check the offset, IMU orientation, and lens profile.
